Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, this wine is fermented in Qvevri—the traditional Georgian clay amphora—and then aged in oak barrels, revealing the full power, finesse, and complexity of its origin.
Limited production: only 2,000 bottles.
The vineyard is located in the village of Khashmi, in the Kakheti region, at 750 meters altitude. The climate is moderately humid, with hot summers and moderately cold winters. The microclimate is shaped by atmospheric currents from the west, crossing both subtropical and temperate zones. The deep, carbonated brown soils, composed of heavy and light clay with stony alluvial layers, give the wine its structure and intensity.
This meticulous, terroir-driven work has earned wide recognition:
The 2021 vintage was awarded a Gold Medal and received the Trophy for Best Wine in its Category at the Georgia International Wine Award 2025.
The 2020 vintage was highlighted in the Granik’s Guide to Georgian Wines as the Best Khashmi Saperavi in the Best Wines per Category 2024 selection.
